Dominican Center's Spring Plant Sale
Dominican Center will hold a spring plant sale with a variety of flowers and vegetable plants grown in DC's hydroponics lab. Hydroponics is a way of farming using equipment that allows us to grow plants in water in less time and less space than traditional gardening. It also helps us bypass the harmful chemicals like lead found in Amani's soil. Rock the Block Event
Dominican Center, along with Amani residents, volunteers and Block by Block partners, will hold a Rock the Block to clean, repair and beautify the 2800 block of N. 22nd Street in support of the Block by Block housing revitalization initiative. Walk & Clean Up with Ald. Stamper
Join neighbors, Amani organizations, City of Milwaukee departments (DNS, DPW, MPD Diet. 5), and 15th District Alderman Stamper for a neighborhood walk. Express your concerns of safety, dumping, street repairs or anything else you'd like to talk about with your alderman. For more information, email Jerusa at [email protected] |
